There was a time when I was camping with my family in Sequoia National Park and I was by the camp fire with my sisters and my uncles. My uncles friend Andrew started to tell us scary stories while we were around the camp fire. He started to talk about people name camelions and basically he explained how these people try to find out as much information as possible about you to be you and replace you. While we were going around the campsite that night, Andrew kept asking us certain questions about ourselves causing me to be really scared because of the previous story he told us. I kept running to my sisters and away from Andrew everytime he tried asking me questions. The next night around the camp fire Andrew started telling us a story of skin walkers, people who disguise themselves as animals or people to trick people and eventually take over the persons body. As a young girl hearing that I was terrified while camping that night. I shared a bed with my mommy in our tent and that whole night I could not sleep. Every-time I opened my eyes I was scared of seeing something. I was scared of the tree branches that were over my head and the shadows it created that night. I was scared of the noise of people walking by to use the restrooms. Eventually I went to sleep next to my mommy but it took me soooo long. Another time I was scared was when my club team and I were on a plane flying back from Florida to Texas, the winds were blowing really hard that night. The winds were blowing so hard that the plane started to shake. I was sooooo scared because of the shaking plane in mid air. I closed my eyes really tight and started talking to myself saying “it’s okay”, “everything is gonna be fine”, “the shaking will be over soon”, and “just go to sleep”. Eventually the plane stopped shaking and we landed safely. I decided to just sleep the rest of the time to calm myself down and pass time by faster. Another time I was scared was when I went to a haunted house with my Dad and sisters for Halloween. The actors were terrifying us with their scary masks and costumes. My fear at that time was clowns and at the end there was a clown waiting to jump scare us, it also chases you which was the most terrifying part!
