My most prized possession

My most prized possession is my Bible!!! It has all the answers and reassurance I need. It helps me grow in to the woman of God I was always meant to be. It gives me so much wisdom and knowledge. It brings me Hope, faithfulness and joy! When I’m going through my day and it’s starting off bad I just turn to a certain chapter and allow Gods true living word to lift up my spirits! I love reading my Bible and highlighting certain verses that stand out to me. I relate to most of the stories I read in the Bible and it helps me figure out how to handle my certain situation. I love Gods living word because it guides me through my life. I notice a big difference when I read my Bible and when I don’t. The Bible is like my sword that I fight my battles with. The Bible reminds me to always speak life into my situations and self! It also reminds me to believe what I say from the heart and not just from my mind. I pray God continues to guide me through His living word and speak to me in ways I will understand. Currently I want to read Thessalonians because my sister in Christ recommended it! Usually I pray before reading the Bible and it helps me understand things better. I pray that God allows me to understand what I’m reading and for Him to speak to me through His words as well as any distractions to be removed. I love reading the Holy Bible because that is another way for me to hear what God is trying to tell me or what God is trying to confirm with me! I love Jesus and how the Holy Spirit constantly speaks to me in ways I understand. Church service have been helping me with understanding certain chapters and how to study the Bible. Studying the Holy Bible is so different than just reading it:) I’m trying to do better at studying what I read instead of just reading it. Usually I use the S.O.A.P method which is basically when you take a (S)cripture (verse), than you (O)bserve what verse you read, than (A)pply that verse to your situations or life and lastly end it with (P)rayer or (P)raise!! There are many other methods to use when studying the Bible but the S.O.A.P method is my favorite one to use!
