The New Yorker Comic:

  1. (Literal) Does this comic have words? Yes this comic has words.
  2. (Inferential) Why are they making the statement about the earth blowing up? Because they are relating this comic to the end of the world which every one predicts will happen on Gods timing.
  3. (Evaluative) what would make this comic more effective? In my opinion some things that would make this comic more effective is a biblically accurate end of the world shown like in the book of revelation.
  4. (Appreciative) why did the author choose to make the characters in the sky and on a cloud? I believe the author chose to make the characters in the sky and on a cloud to represent God and an angel as well as them being in heaven looking down at the world.
  5. (Essential question) Why is hearing the good news of Jesus beneficial? Hearing the good news of Jesus helps us understand who He is, His agape(sacrificial) love for us, His power and healings and increases our wisdom and love for Him! It also allows us an opportunity to share the gospel with others✝️🩷
  6. This comic is supposed to be funny because it is like God is watching a movie that He already knows the ending to.
