My experience with the picture book was very exciting, and complicated as well!! I was very stressed in the beginning when I was brainstorming ideas. Over time I decided to go with what felt right in the moment. My original idea got changed and I’m honestly more happy with my finished product and official idea I went with. I loved the process of making it after I finally decided on what I was going to do. My book came out so colorful and the meaning was very impactful. My book’s appearance could have came out better but I’m honestly pretty happy with the way I created it. I ended up printing pictures out instead of drawing them myself. I really wanted to draw them myself but it didn’t end up that way with the finished product. Although I was bummed about that I think my book came out pretty good with just the printed out pictures. This project required me to think outside of the box and use some creativity. It also required a lot of patience for me with the whole process. It required a lot of effort as well to figure out how many pages I should write and how many words I should put knowing my target audience is mostly little kids. I enjoyed this whole project because it required me to try something I have never done before which was create my own children’s book!
